This morning the girls were sitting in the living room watching a movie. I love to watch the way they interact with each other. Jillian walks around saying, "Ab~Pie" constantly; yet very rarely says her version of Kylie which is "Ty". However, she and Kylie have a VERY unique bond. Sister also VERY rarely sits still. So, this was extra special and I am so happy that I was able to catch it so that we can always remember this precious moment.
Sweet Jillian, aka "Sister" ~ 17 months & Kylie ~ 9 years ~ 06/28/11
Sweet Jillian has brought so much joy to our home. She LOVES to snack. Tonight we were watching a movie with the kids, which of course required popcorn. So, sister made the rounds!
"Sister" getting popcorn from Dad
Sister getting popcorn from Abby
Sister getting popcorn from Kylie
Sister helping herself from my bowl
Jillian winding down the snack train with a drink while sitting in Kelsey's lap!
Sweet Jillian, you are SO entertaining to watch! ~ I LOVE YOU!!!
We had 4 salvations at Oasis Church today.
I'm so grateful for our Oasis Family.
I love lazy Saturdays. We all stayed in our pajamas ALL day, watched movies & just enjoyed being together.
Sweet sisters playing together, looking at each other through the mailbox.
I love it when we are all together & hearing the girls' laughter, there's nothing better. I love my family.
We had a great time tonight at Oasis Church at our Marriage Workshop!
I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and even more thankful for an excellent marriage. Thank you Lord!
We moved into our house 2 years ago and ever since we moved in I have wanted to redo the flower beds. This spring I finally had the chance to do that. I bought some Hibiscus flowers on clearance at Lowe's for $1 a piece. Today I had 4 of the pink ones that all bloomed at the same time in the big flower bed by front door.
It's so nice to be able to enjoy the "fruits" of my labor ~ Thank you Lord!
I have been trying to get a picture of Jillian for 3 days now. She moves SO fast it's hard to get one that's not blurred. Then, if it's not blurred, her eyes are usually closed. Today I achieved victory!!! I thought it was only appropriate since today she is 17 months old! Thank you Jillian for cooperating!!!
Sweet Jillian ~ 06/22/11 ~ 17 months old
When we came back from swimming yesterday the girls left the backpack out with all the swimming toys in it. Little Sister found it!
Abby & Kylie had day 2 of Karate today and they had a lot of fun. After dinner, we went swimming and then came home and went for a walk. They are ready for bed. Abby said she is "wiped out". Sounds like good summer fun to me!
Jillian trying to lay down with Kylie & Abby ~ 06/21/11

Abby & Kylie have begged Danny for years to teach them Karate. He promised that he would teach them this summer. They had a friend join them today for Day 1.
For the Williams Family, summer is officially here. Abby is home for summer, so it seems as if all is right with the world. And speaking of Abby, we are celebrating today for a very special reason. Last year on Father's Day is when Abby broke her neck and we are just praising God for all that He has done for her. God brought her through with an amazing healing and what a testimony! Thank you Lord! She made a video for Danny's sermon series titled, "Impossible Is Nothing" & I wanted to share it.
I have really wanted to do better with this blog, but it has been so difficult. So, I'm "borrowing" my friends' idea from her blog to see if that will help jump start me back on the blogging track. For the rest of the summer I will post a picture every day from the Williams Family. I hope that it will be fun to look at but will also provide us with great memories from our summer. Although, I may also be presenting myself with quite the challenge. The picture I am posting from today, is like the 20th try. It is so hard to get Jillian or as we affectionately call her "sister" to look at the camera. And when she smiles, her eyes are usually closed. So, it will be interesting, but maybe it will push me to figure out the faster settings on the camera.
Kelsey (17), Danny, Jillian (16 months), Abby (10) & Kylie (9) ~ Father's Day 2011
Happy Father's Day! I'm so thankful for the father you are to our children. Thank you for having the heart like God, the gift called adoption. Our lives are forever changed & blessed by this wonderful gift. And thank you for loving the "fatherless". Thank you for being daddy to them and loving them as your own. Thank you for leading our family in the ways of the Lord. I'm forever grateful. I love you!
I can't wait to share with you more about our wonderful family in the upcoming days! I can't wait to hear from you my friends!
Blessings,
Cheryl
